Great place but no social life

Great location in the center of Sayulita, the dorms are very comfortable and the beds give good privacy even for a dorm. The hostel was always clean and the staff is very friendly.

There are no social activities at the hostels. As a solo traveler, it was very hard to meet people. The feeling is more like a hotel where people don't really talk.

They were renovating so there wasn’t much lounge space to relax, I think they should add more lounges chair and hamac cuz the bunk beds are only to sleep.

Nice clean hostel, great location, great breakfast, great staff. Bed was a little hard for my liking and the walls are thin but we expected it to be noisy being downtown in wonderful Sayulita.

Price ! we paid less for a suite at the Holiday Inn suites in P.V.

What was the highlight of Selina Sayulita Hotel

A great, clean, comfortable place to stay but not socialise.

The rooms were comfortable and clean, the yoga was wonderful (paid activity), the location is super central, and everyone working there was friendly.

This is definitely more of a hotel experience than a hostel in that there isn't a big social scene amongst the guests. There's no main place to congregate and the bar activities are for the public so you don't necessarily meet others from Selina. The other contributing factor is that many people are there to work so not everyone is in vacation mode. The hostel bar is really loud until about 12:30 but the bars around it can be loud after that but earphones with sleep sounds drowned it out well enough. The breakfast was alright but I might skip it next time. The staff in the restaurant all had a different understanding of what was included in the breakfast so each morning was a bit of a surprise. Breakfast also only starts at 8 so if you're an early riser or go on a day trip you might miss it.

Very Good

The main thing that makes this place great is the location. Right in the center of downtown, and they have a lot of activities and events in the bar / restaurant / that is directly connected to the hostel. 2 min walk straight down the street to the beach. The shared rooms with bunk beds are also surprisingly cosy for a v reasonable price. There are plenty of nooks in the public spaces of the hostel to hang out in, so you really don't need a private room. The heated pool in the center is pretty clutch. Shared kitchen is nice to have if you want to cook yourself, or even just reheat your leftovers from a nearby restaurant.

Can be v noisy at night because sometimes there are parties going on around which go late, so keep that in mind if it's not your thing, but that's just a part of being right in downtown Sayulita.

Great location and lived there was a pool.

Kitchen could have been better equipped. Bathroom could have been better. There was even a shared bathroom outside the workspace, but it seemed actually for men. Theater was not working. Could have been cleaner.

The location is great. It’s right in the centre on town and a few minutes from the beach. The beds and comfortable (with curtains) and they clean the room and bathroom daily. The staff are helpful and happy to help.

There is always a line at reception. There aren’t many places to sit and relax if you don’t want to be in your bed. I would’ve loved to sit at the pool and relax.

Nice hotel, friendly staff but maintenance should check rooms to avoid situations like we had.

Location was great. Our stay did not include breakfast but the restaurant was good. Good welcome drink which made us return to the restaurant.Good sized room. Friendly staff. Wonderful yoga class.

-Our bathroom fan was extremely noisy. They repaired it the next day but we had to sleep with the loud sound all night. They said they would fix it the next day which was better but we had no way of turning it on or off. -The bedroom could use a mirror and we did not have enough towels which they eventually gave us. -We had 2 sleepless nights due to maintenance issues that could have been avoided with routine room checks by maintenance. -On our last night, way past midnight, I went to the bathroom and the whole bathroom was flooded incuthe entry to the bedroom which was slippery and extremely dangerous. I noticed the toilets flex wire mesh tube connecting the water supply to the toilet exploded. I turned odd the water supply valve and used all the towels to clean up the floor because it had no drain and I was too tired to get to the front desk. It was dangerous because the floor was wet and I had to wake everyone up to tell them the situation so they would not fall. We told the desk the next day and maintenance fixed it.

Really close to the beach, really clean bathrooms and common areas, amazing yoga classes and easy to get surf boards.

Walls and ceilings are very thin and we could hear everything from the rooms above and the music from the bar. Ear plugs highly recommended.

This hostel is fun and friendly and great great value! Although maybe not best for the lighter sleepers!

The place was pretty cool! Right in the centre of everything, friendly staff, nice facilities, social if you want it to be, not if not. would come back for sure!

We could hear absolutely everything! Conversations, sex, doors locking etc. I didn’t sleep through the night once in our three night stay due to noise.
